Sixth UN World Data Forum

The next Forum is planned in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to take place between 9 - 12 November 2026.

The UN World Data Forum is a global conference that brings together governments, academia, civil society, and the private sector to improve how data are produced and used for sustainable development. Organized under the United Nations, it promotes innovation, partnerships, and political and financial support for better statistics, especially for monitoring the Sustainable Development Goals. Since 2017, the forum has grown into a large international community and has produced key outcome documents — from the Cape Town Global Action Plan to the Medellín Framework for Action — guiding how countries strengthen data systems and collaborate within the global data ecosystem. The WEED project will be represented by Marc Paganini (ESA).
