THEMATIC EXPERTS

James Cook University provides thematic expertise on coastal ecosystems and provides support on (i) implementing the IUCN GET typology into the toolbox, (ii) provide input reference data for coastal ecosystem types, (iii) contribute to the algorithm trade-off and Proof-Of-Concept for coastal ecosystems, (iv) support demonstrations.

DHI provides thematic expertise on wetland ecosystems and provide support on (i) provide support to implement the RAMSAR typology into the toolbox, (ii) provide input reference data for wetland ecosystem types, (iii) advise on available state-of-the-art solutions for wetland ecosystems, and the selection of the best algorithm based on results on selected test sites, (iv) liaise with the RAMSAR community.

Ecounting provides thematic expertise on mainly European ecosystems and provide support on (i) implementing this EU typology into the toolbox, (ii) liaise with SEEA EA Technical Committee, (iii) analyze the products for several test sites, mainly located in tropical ecosystems (rangeland, forst, wetlands). 

U-Bonn provides thematic expertise on Agro-ecosystems and uncertainties. They provide support and knowledge transfer to iDIV related to GlobES scripts, potentially being used in data pre-processing and integration of uncertainties in validation.
